I am now on maternity leave and have just given birth to a beautiful baby girl though ever since I saw a cow caesarian on the farm where my father worked, I knew I wanted to be a Veterinary Nurse; at the age of just 9 years old.
Having studied at Bicton College in Devon, I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse on 1995. Since then I have worked in first opinion practices in Wiltshire, where I was born and bred, until I moved to Devon in November 2014 and joined the North Park team.
I am very passionate about Veterinary Nursing as a career and have been representing the profession on the council of British Veterinary Nursing Association for the past 3 years.
Even though I thoroughly enjoy every aspect of veterinary nursing my interests lay in laboratory diagnostics, radiography and in-patient care.
At home I relax by spending time with my two naughty tortoiseshell cats, Honey and Toffee, a funny Jack Russell Terrier called Elvis and riding my handsome Anglo European horse, Tally, who I compete with at dressage regularly. More recently I have acquired my first flock of Herdwick sheep which I am looking forward to breeding from next year.
