Small Holders Club

North Park Veterinary Group Smallholders Club

Our Smallholders Club aims to support owners of small flocks/herds (i.e. less than 50 animals), but everyone is welcome to join. The purpose of the group is to host a social, informal environment for idea and resource sharing, benefiting the animals on smallholdings in Devon.

Membership fees are a monthly subscription of £12.50 and include;

  • Seasonal smallholder newsletters
  • Unlimited free telephone advice during work hours
  • Topical discussion groups, led by suggestions from the group (chargeable to non-club members)
  • “Ask a vet” sessions; best practice advice based on client questions
  • Workshop discounts; lambing course, worm egg count seminar, foot trimming practical
  • Half price annual visit and prescription check (required for dispensing veterinary medicines)
  • Access to sharing practice resources at a reduced price – part bottles of vaccine and fluke, worming and ectoparasite products
  • Half price worm egg counts and veterinary advice

You will then be taken to our out of hours answering service, who will then take your details and pass you to the emergency duty vet. Please make sure you are loud and clear when answering the relevant questions. This will speed up the process of getting you to the duty vet.
