Experienced Farm Vet Required (Permanent Position)

While an experienced member of our team embarks on a 6-month working sabbatical in Scandinavia, we are looking for another outstanding farm vet to join us. We don’t want you just to keep their wellies warm however – we want you to stay with us permanently, as North Park continues to grow and thrive.

We currently have a dedicated team of 5.5 FTE farm vets, 2 ATTs/techs, 3 export vets and exceptional support staff. We are an independent practice, serving a diverse mix of farming enterprises, allowing our vets the clinical freedom to pursue their specific areas of interest. From 1000-cow indoor dairy units to grazing block-calvers, beef sucklers to calf rearers, commercial lowland to extensive hill flocks, we can guarantee varied and rewarding work.

Our fantastic team, backed with DBR and certificate holders, love what they do and take great pride in their contributions to the local community and beyond. We live and work in a truly stunning location and are blessed to have a fantastic and friendly client base. We are proud to say that we have had representation both on the BCVA board and SVS committees over the past 10+ years, with Jonathan currently JVP of SVS.

In addition to a competitive salary of £40-58K (depending on experience), we provide enhanced employer pension contributions and private healthcare as standard. Our 1:5 OOH rota, with one day off per-fortnight for FTEs, provides genuine work-life balance. All the usual toys are provided, alongside an extensive in-house lab and VaDia kits.

To apply for the role, please send your CV and covering to letter to our Practice Manager Richard Lamb at or phone on 01837 82327.

Applications close Friday 10th April.
